Naturopathic Medicine for Allergies and Asthma

GOSHEN Ind. – Sneezing, wheezing, runny nose, and itchy, watery, red eyes -- these are just some of the symptoms that millions of Americans face each year as the pollen from trees, grass, flowers, and plants makes it way into the air.

On Tuesday, Aug. 5 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., The Retreat Women’s Health Center will offer a free community talk on for allergy and asthma sufferers in the area.

Led by Dr. Aroop Banerji, Naturopathic Physician and licensed acupuncturist, the discussion will include the benefits of naturopathic medicine and acupuncture on these conditions.

“Allergies and asthma are closely related, with allergies sometimes even triggering an asthma attack,” Dr. Banerji said. “We’ll discuss the underlying causes for why some people develop allergies and asthma, look at common triggers for both conditions and explore non-drug options to bring relief to allergy and asthma symptoms.”
